Pastor Mark A. Royster Sr.

            

            Pastor Mark Royster was born in Camden, NJ in 1960 to The Late Donald and Geneva Royster .  After graduating from Camden High School, Mark pursued a career in the military, enlisting in the United States Army.

             Already saved from his youth;  After three tours in the military; Mark  turned his focus back to  the Lord.  Honorably discharged in 1992, Mark returned to his home church and began ministering to the youth at The Calvary Baptist Churchin Merchantville, NJ. 

            While sponsoring a youth service at Calvary Baptist Church, he was blessed to find his wife.  Mark was united in marriage to his wife; Carla, in 1993. This God ordained union thrust him into a deeper communion with God, and a greater awareness of his ever-present anointing. After four years of marriage, God saw fit to add children to their lives, blessing them with two sons.

             After relocating  to Central Jersey, he begin to serve in the Ujima Christian Church in Ewing Twp., NJ and was ordained a Deacon under the pastorate of  Rev. Dr. John R. Norwood Jr.   Led by the Spirit of God; 7 years later Pastor Mark & his wife founded Blessed Redeemer Ministries.

             Over the years Blessed Redeemer Ministrieshas been highly favored and has helped plant and support other small group ministries. Pastor Mark is committed to the development and deliverance of the struggling, with a strong minstry to Men, and the youth. 

              The ministry road has be not been without challenge and  as one who was admittedly redeemed from a life of sin and degradation; Pastor Royster possesses a love for God, and a  heart for those who are struggling because he believes:

 He (God)  sent from above, he (The Lord)  took me, he (God) drew me out of many waters.  He (The Lord) delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.  They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
